In January 2010, four musicians from four different parts of Canada came together to create the Crimson String Quartet. Since their formation, the group has performed more than 200 concerts in more than fifteen countries. Always focused on their goal to make classical music accessible for the public audience, the CSQ has decided to leave the concert hall and forge their own path. Their “classical pop-rock” vibe could be described as an amplified hybrid between the Kronos String Quartet and Apocalyptica.
